Xu Beihong was a Chinese painter and primarily known for his Chinese ink paintings of horses and birds and was one of the first Chinese artists to articulate the need for artistic expressions that reflected a modern China at the beginning of the 20th century.
The Beijing Xu Beihong Memorial Hall covers an area of 3,900 square meters and a building area of 4,600 square meters. More than ten thousands of audiences visit here each year.
